Ava Roberts
Thank you, Jessie! I’m excited to be here and talk about these important topics.
Jessie Lane
Ava, you recently starred in a film that explores themes of self-acceptance and personal growth. What drew you to this project?
Ava Roberts
When I read the script, I felt an immediate connection to the character's journey. It's so relevant to my own experiences. The film really highlights the importance of embracing who we are, flaws and all. I think it’s a message that resonates with so many people.
Jessie Lane
That’s beautiful. In your own life, how has self-love influenced your relationships and career?
Ava Roberts
Self-love has been a game changer for me. Once I started to accept myself, I noticed a significant change in how I interacted with others. I became more open and honest about my needs and boundaries, which has led to healthier relationships, both personally and professionally.

What are some practices you incorporate into your daily life to foster self-love and self-care?
Ava Roberts
I try to start each day with mindfulness and meditation. It helps me set a positive tone for the day. Journaling is also a big part of my routine; it allows me to process my thoughts and feelings. And of course, I make sure to take time for activities that bring me joy, like painting or simply spending time in nature.
Jessie Lane
Those sound like wonderful practices. In today’s world, what do you think people struggle with the most when it comes to self-love?
Ava Roberts
I think many people struggle with accepting their imperfections. Social media often paints an unrealistic picture of what life should look like. It’s important to remember that everyone has their struggles, and embracing our true selves is a crucial step in cultivating self-love.
Jessie Lane
You mentioned social media; how do you maintain a healthy relationship with it?
Ava Roberts
I’ve learned to curate my feed to include accounts that inspire and uplift me. I also take regular breaks from social media when I feel overwhelmed. It's important to prioritize my mental health over the pressure to stay connected at all times.

As we wrap up, what advice would you give to someone struggling with self-love?
Ava Roberts
My advice would be to start small. Practicing self-love is a journey, not a destination. Begin with small acts of kindness towards yourself, like positive affirmations or indulging in a hobby you love. Surround yourself with supportive people and remember that it’s okay to seek help when needed. You are worthy of love and respect, starting from yourself.
