Welcome everyone to this week's episode! I'm Leo, and I’m thrilled to have our guest, Sunnyheart, joining us today. With such an impressive background in B2B sales and a transition into emotional education, I can’t wait to explore her journey. Sunnyheart, it’s fantastic to have you here. Your career path has been quite unique, hasn’t it?

g

Sunnyheart

Thanks, Leo! I’m really excited to be here. It has indeed been a journey, starting from my time at IBM and moving through various roles in different companies. Each position taught me something new, especially when it comes to direct communication with people. I think that’s something I truly value.

h

Leo

Absolutely! Your experience in customer management and product management must have given you a rich perspective on how businesses operate. I find it fascinating that you’ve pivoted towards emotional education. Can you share what sparked that shift for you?

g

Sunnyheart

Great question, Leo! It was a combination of factors. After returning from abroad with my child, I found myself reflecting on my career and what really mattered to me. I realized that while I enjoyed my previous roles, I wanted to focus on something that felt more fulfilling. Emotional education seemed to resonate with that desire, especially as our world becomes more focused on mental health and emotional well-being.

h

Leo

That makes a lot of sense. Emotional education is becoming increasingly important. It’s not just about managing tasks or projects anymore; it’s really about understanding ourselves and others too. Could you elaborate on what you hope to achieve through this new venture?

g

Sunnyheart

Of course! I aim to create a platform where individuals can learn about emotional intelligence and how it impacts their personal and professional lives. My goal is to help others navigate their emotions, enhancing communication and relationships. I believe that when people understand their emotions better, they can make wiser decisions and build stronger connections.

h

Leo

That’s such a valuable mission, Sunnyheart. It seems like you’re really channeling your experiences into something that can help many people. Transitioning into entrepreneurship comes with its own set of challenges though. What has that journey been like for you so far?

g

Sunnyheart

It’s been both exciting and challenging, to say the least! Starting from scratch is daunting, especially with the pressure to market oneself effectively. I think the biggest challenge has been learning how to sell my ideas and services without feeling like I’m just pushing a product. I want to sell something worthwhile, not just to big corporations, but to individuals and communities that I believe in.

h

Leo

I love that mindset! Focusing on meaningful connections rather than just transactions really sets you apart. It’s interesting how your B2B background offers valuable insights into this new phase of your career. Do you find that your previous experiences influence the way you approach your new business?

g

Sunnyheart

Definitely! My past roles taught me a lot about understanding client needs and building trust, which are crucial in any business. I draw on those experiences constantly. Whether it’s preparing presentations or connecting with potential clients, I try to leverage my skills in a way that feels authentic and impactful.

h

Leo

That’s a powerful approach. Authenticity really shines through—people can sense when someone is genuine. As you venture deeper into emotional education, are there specific areas or topics that you’re particularly passionate about exploring with your audience?

g

Sunnyheart

Absolutely! I’m really passionate about topics like resilience and empathy. Resilience is crucial, especially in today’s fast-paced world where people face various challenges. Teaching others how to bounce back from setbacks is something I’d love to explore more. And empathy, too—it’s essential for effective communication and building relationships.

h

Leo

Resilience and empathy are such important skills. It’s impressive how you’re combining your professional background with the emotional education aspect to create something truly impactful. I can only imagine how your insights will resonate with your audience. What kind of resources or tools do you envision providing them?

g

Sunnyheart

I’m planning to offer workshops, online courses, and maybe even one-on-one coaching sessions. I want to create an interactive space where learning feels engaging and practical. Additionally, I’d love to incorporate case studies and real-life scenarios to help people apply these concepts in their daily lives.

h

Leo

That sounds fantastic! The interactive aspect will definitely keep people engaged. It’ll be exciting to see how your journey unfolds. As you continue to develop your business, what advice would you give to others who might be considering a similar path of transitioning into entrepreneurship?

g

Sunnyheart

I would say that it’s essential to stay true to your vision and values. Don’t be afraid to lean on your experiences, even if they seem unrelated at first. Network and build relationships with others in your field, as those connections can be incredibly supportive. Lastly, be patient and give yourself grace as you navigate this journey.

h

Leo

Wise words! It’s so important to remain patient and flexible during this phase. I can see how your background in B2B sales could really influence your approach to networking. You’ve got a wealth of knowledge, Sunnyheart, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how you bring it all together in your new venture.

g

Sunnyheart

Thanks, Leo! I appreciate your support. I’m excited about the possibilities ahead and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. It’s definitely a journey worth taking!
