Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our crosstalk on 'Skeleton Crew!' Or as I like to call it, 'A Comedy of Errors in a Haunted House!'
Anne
You know, if the characters are any more scared than the ghosts, we might as well rename the show 'Screaming Crew!'
Martin
How many of you believe in ghosts? Raise your hands! Now keep them up if you’d rather hang out with the ghosts than watch this show!
Anne
Wow, look at those hands! I guess the ghosts are winning in popularity!
Martin
Let’s talk about the plot. I feel like it’s a Bermuda Triangle of confusion. Once you enter, you’re never coming out the same!
Anne
Right? The only thing haunting me is the memory of those plot holes! I mean, they’re bigger than a black hole!
Martin
And let's discuss the special effects. Were they trying to scare us or just testing how low their budget could go?
Anne
I think I saw better effects in my kindergarten puppet show! At least the puppets were less creepy!
Martin
The soundtrack! Haunting melodies or just music to give you a headache? Sometimes I think the ghosts are actually asking for a different genre!
Anne
I don't know about you, but I prefer my haunting with a side of jazz. It’s much less nerve-wracking!
Martin
So, how many stars do we give 'Skeleton Crew'? I say one star for every cringe-worthy moment!
Anne
I’m giving it two stars, one for entertainment and one for how many times I screamed at the screen! What about you all?
