Vanessa

Hey, Silja! I’m good, just trying to survive another day at our chaotic office.

Dominik

Hi, everyone! I’m doing great, especially now that I get to spend some time with you two.

Silja

(laughs) Always the charmer, Dominik! Speaking of chaos, Vanessa, didn’t you mention something about a big drama happening at work this week?

Vanessa

Oh, you could say that again! It’s been a whirlwind. There’s this ongoing feud between the marketing and sales teams. They can’t agree on anything!

Dominik

I heard about that. It’s like watching a reality show unfold. What’s the latest?

Vanessa

Well, yesterday, they had this huge meeting, and it turned into a shouting match. I swear, I thought someone was going to throw a stapler!

Silja

(laughs) That would be quite the sight! But honestly, it’s so exhausting. We’re all on edge, and I just want to focus on the work.

Dominik

Totally. But you know what? I think it’s times like these that make us appreciate our friendships even more. Right, Vanessa?

Vanessa

Absolutely. It helps to have you and Silja to vent to.

Silja

(playfully) Speaking of venting, Vanessa, how’s that little crush you’ve got on Dominik?

Vanessa

(blushing) Oh come on, Silja!

Dominik

(teasingly) What crush? I’m curious now!

Silja

(laughs) Oh, you know, just the usual. Vanessa thinks you’re super cute, and I think she’s a little shy about it.

Vanessa

(sighs) Okay, okay, maybe I do have a little crush. But it’s complicated!

Dominik

(leaning in) I wouldn’t say it’s complicated, Vanessa. I think there’s something special between us.

Silja

(grinning) See? I told you he’s into you too!

Vanessa

(nervously) Really? You think so?

Dominik

Definitely. I’ve been trying to show you how I feel.

Silja

(excitedly) This is the perfect moment! Vanessa, why don’t you just go for it? How about a date with Dominik?

Vanessa

(hesitant) I don’t know… What if it ruins our friendship?

Dominik

(softly) I promise, it won’t. I value our friendship too, and I think we could have something amazing together.

Silja

(encouragingly) Come on, Vanessa! Life is too short to hold back. Just say yes!

Vanessa

(taking a deep breath) Okay, Dominik. I’d love to go on a date with you.

Dominik

(smiling) Really? That’s awesome!

Silja

(cheering) Yay! This is the best news!

Vanessa

(laughing) Thanks for being my wing woman, Silja.

Dominik

And thank you for taking the leap, Vanessa. I can’t wait!

Silja
