Jules

Thanks, Alex! I had a really fun date yesterday with my friend Hilde's queerplatonic partner Simon. We had agreed that he would get to pick the location for our date, and I would pick the activity. When I went to the meeting spot, he said, 'See that huge skyscraper living tower? On top of that is the highest rooftop terrace of Brussels, and I've been wanting to see it forever. In ten minutes, we have an appointment with a real estate agent, because we want to invest in a property there, and we're going to convince her to show us the terrace and let us hang out there. Are you ready?' It was such an exciting start!

That sounds like an incredible setup! How did you feel when Simon proposed this idea of a rooftop heist?

Jules

I was blown away! I did not expect to go on a heist within ten minutes of my date. It was thrilling and a bit nerve-wracking, but I was definitely up for the adventure. I felt a sense of excitement and curiosity about what was to come.

That must have been an adrenaline rush! Can you tell us more about the experience on the rooftop and how you felt about it?

Jules

The rooftop terrace was absolutely stunning. We got to see the entire city from a unique perspective, and it was such a magical moment. The real estate agent was a bit surprised by our enthusiasm, but she seemed to appreciate our creativity. I felt a strong connection with Simon as we explored the space together. It was a moment of pure, unfiltered joy.

That's amazing! After the rooftop, what did you do next? I understand you played some interesting games.

Jules

Yes, after the rooftop, we got some coffee and went to a skate park. We played a game called 'Curious Date or Serial Killer?' where you ask each other questions that could be asked either by an inquisitive first date or a serial killer. Some of the questions we asked were 'Do you run? What is your fastest time?' 'Are you trusting of strangers?' and 'If you were to die of natural causes, what is the most likely cause?' It was a fun way to get to know each other better and add a bit of playfulness to the date.

Jules

It was a mix of surprise and amusement. I learned a lot about Simon's sense of humor and his perspectives. The game allowed us to be vulnerable and share more personal details in a fun and light-hearted way. It was a great icebreaker and helped deepen our connection.

That's wonderful! You also mentioned playing a blindfolded dancing game. Can you tell us more about that?

Jules

Absolutely! I had prepared a blindfolded dancing game, and I asked Simon if I could blindfold him. He was a bit surprised but agreed. We danced to his favorite song, 'Space Odyssey.' It was a very intimate and trusting experience. We ended up face to face, and it was a moment of intense connection. I could see that we were both very close to kissing.

Jules

We both felt the tension, but I decided to take a step back and suggested we play another game called the 'Three-Minute Game.' It involved touching and intimate activities, and it was a way to explore our connection further. We both agreed to give feedback and set boundaries, and it was a very special and intimate experience.

Jules

It was an incredibly profound experience. We both felt a deep sense of connection and trust. Simon mentioned that taking was difficult for him, so we did another round of freeflow taking, which allowed us to explore each other's boundaries and desires. It was very hot and intense, and we both felt very close to each other.

That's so powerful. After the games, how did the rest of the date go? Did you have any other memorable moments?

Jules

We made out for quite a while, and it was very passionate. We sat opposite each other, and I put my legs over his, intending to sit in a comfortable position. But he pulled me into his lap, and it was a new and very intimate experience for me. I felt very wanted and cherished. We also made out while waiting for the cashier at a supermarket, which was a spontaneous and exciting moment.

Those are some incredible moments! How did you both feel about the date overall, and what are your thoughts on seeing each other again?

Jules

We both had a lot of fun and felt a strong connection. I told Simon, 'This is great data for my hypothesis. How about you?' He said, 'You are completely crazy and I like it.' We agreed on zero relationship expectations but both expressed a desire to see each other again soon. It was a very fulfilling and exciting date.
