Reunion at Glencoe

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome! Four school friends, five years apart, and a hill walking trip that makes us question our physical fitness. You'd think after five years we’d all get in shape, but the only thing that got toned was our excuses!

Mal

I thought this was supposed to be a lovely reunion, but all I see is cloud cover and rain! Is Scotland trying to say something to us?

Flea

Oh come on, Mal! The weather is just Scottish humor! Look at it this way—if we were in the sun, we’d just be sweating like pigs. Now, we can sweat AND complain about the rain!

Mal

And how's everyone enjoying the glorious Scottish weather? I don’t know about you, but I just found a new meaning to 'drip, drip, drop!'

Flea

Exactly! And speaking of drops, I’ve dropped my fitness regime! Did anyone else notice that the only thing we’re spotting on this hike is each other’s excuses to stop?

Mal

True! I thought we were going to spot wildlife, but all I see is Hoss trying to catch his breath! I’m surprised he can still spot his own feet!

Flea

Well, at least we had a wildlife spotting competition! 'Hey, I saw a unicorn!' 'Really? I saw a dragon!' I think we all need to check our glasses or our sanity!

Mal

In the end, despite the clouds and rain, this trip taught us one thing—real friends can weather any storm, or at least laugh through the puddles!

Flea

So here’s to more adventures, even if they come with rain! We’ll just bring umbrellas next time... or maybe just a boat!
